Jaquet Droz Grande Heure Minute Quantiéme

La-Chaux-de-Fonds-based Jaquet Droz has launched a new model, the Grande Heure Minute Quantième with a silicon spiral movement. The stainless steel timepiece comes in both 39 and 43mm, and with either a silvered opaline or blue Côtes de Genève dial.

The case, in stainless steel, measures 43mm or 39mm x 11.1mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Jaquet Droz in-house caliber 1150P with 28 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 68 hours. It has a silicon balance wheel, a double barrel, and a heavy metal skeletonized rotor.

The dial is available with a silvered opaline with applied opaline ring, applied indications with rhodium treatment. Date display at 6 o’clock, black varnished numerals. It has hours, minutes and seconds Lancine hands in blued steel with the seconds hand having a red tip. Or with a blue Côtes de Genève dial with steel hands. The new date aperture sports a design with sharp angles and beveled edges perfectly embedded in the dial, without forgetting the classic last day of the month displayed in red.

It comes on a black or blue rolled-edge hand-made alligator leather strap with a steel ardillon buckle.
